New Neighbour, Restoration Hardware

Welcome to Edmonton Restoration Hardware! My fab friend, Dajana just sent me the news they will be opening November 20 in Southgate Centre. I've yet to actually buy anything at Restoration Hardware, but definitely good for some inspiration, right?

Now, if they could just send a nice note to their friends West Elm and Crate & Barrel letting them know how lovely Edmonton is? That'd be great, thanks :)

Thanks for the tip, D!!

Do you have a Restoration Hardware near you? Do you like?

  1. i can walk to the nearest r.H....they recently changed the entire store so that its 100pct showroom styles...before they had some displays and things you could select yourself and bring up to the counter and pay for it...no longer

i wish west elm was walking distance too (asking a bit much, I know)

  4. I have one in driving distance but the West Elm is closer, being right downtown- I actually prefer WE because I like the brighter colour palate- and the prices are great. It's always exciting when a new store comes to town- I was soooo happy when an Anthro opened here:)

  6. I love Restoration Hardware. It is especially useful when Christmas shopping and I need to find those hard to find gifts for people like Dads and Bosses. Enjoy!

  7. They closed so many of ours, but I can drive about 45 mins to a new 'jumbo' store. For now, I just use their catalog as inspiration.

  9. I'm so jealous!! We have NO good home decor stores in Ottawa. No RH, no West Elm, no Pottery Barn, no Crate & Barrel.... waaahhhhh!!!

    Have fun shopping!

  10. Prepare to pee your pants (in the best way possible). It is an AMAZING store and the furniture is outstanding. I buy almost all my lampshades there (my price range does not include a $5000 couch), and several throws as well. Awesome draperies, too. The sky's the limit lady!!

  12. Welcome C! I love sharing such fantastic news! And I have a slight suspicion that the two of us will be at Southgate on RH's opening day with our noses pressed up against the glass doors waiting (unpatiently) for them to open. Ha!

P.S. I love being referred to as your 'fab' friend. Takes one to know one lady! :)

  18. the worst part about those stores in canada is the price tag, it's just so hard to swallow the canadian price verses the american price, something needs to be done about this!

  19. SO jealous. They closed down the one closest to me. Boo.

  21. OH my gosh. I need to go here!! That first photo is INCREDIBLE. And yes Crate and Barrel needs to get their butt closer to here too. Love that place! xo

  22. While you are at it send them a note that people here on the west coast buy furniture too {and we don't like driving downtown to do so!}

Miss living in the US where I had a Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware OUTLET 20 min away! Sigh.....

  23. Restoration Hardware is pretty fab so long as you have a BIG checkbook. Unlike pottery barn or other furniture stores its sometimes compared to, Restoration Hardware's furniture is of a much higher quality and their price tags will make sure you're aware of it :)
