I love a little kiddie sized reading nook and always loooved the IKEA spice rack turned bookshelves idea I'd seen here and here. So simple yet so perfect. Thanks ladies, for the inspiration :)

One of my favourite details is the beautiful pattern the chandelier makes all over the room:

It was so fun to do a room from top to bottom. This room was our office before, which was pretty much a dumping ground, now I walk in here and it makes me smile.
From this, to this:

What do you think, you like?
UPDATE: for a full list of sources for the room click here.

ReplyDeleteIT IS BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteYour little guy or girl will love it!!!
Good jobbie!
Still pregs? did you have an early ultrasound to verify your due date? I am just super curious, since I read 50% of moms go over their due date...but only 10% over 41 weeks, and that number drops to 2% when you had an early ultrasound to date the baby...
needless to say I really don't want to be part of that 2% (because I will need a repeat c-section, they won't induce you if you have had a c-section)....my original due date was moved back by 9 days...I am due Wednesday!
ok ok chatter chatter chatter!
what I really mean to say is: HANG IN THERE MOMMA! YOU ARE ALMOST THERE!

ReplyDeleteThe cover is from babies r us, I think the brand is kushies. It's actually a really dark brown piping but looks almost black. Hope that helps! :)
