Loving: Colour and Denim!

Not sure if I (or my post preggo hips) can pull this off, but I'm really loving the coloured denim trend lately.

colourdenim
1) Anthropologie 2) Gap 3) Urban Outfitters 4) Zara 5) Urban Outfitters 6) Anthropologie

I totally rocked pink and purple demin as a kid.  What is it they say, "if you wore the trend the first time you probably shouldn't the second time around"?? hmmm.

  2. I think if you wore it in grade school it doesnt count!!!!

    I had the best purple jeans in grade eight!

    Go for it mama! I would, if I could get to a store and try them on first, mail order jeans are tricky! If we go to Florida, I will scoop some up at the outlets!!!

  3. Well, I love it, but I ended up buying white jeans for myself on the weekend, and my teenaged daughter got the red and purple ones! Maybe in a pastel...

  6. DO IT!! Those are my pink ones right there on the top row! Honestly-- you just gotta get ones that fit right. When I was shopping for a pair of colored jeans the ones at american eagle were cute-- but not on me! The ones at the gap are perfect for those of us who have had kids-- they aren't as low cut as some of the other styles out there and the have the perfect amount of stretch :)

    1. I love those pink ones, Elissa. They're such a great soft rose colour. Glad to hear the gap has some mama friendly (but not "mom jean") styles, I'll definitely have to check those out!

  8. The coloured denim trend is everywhere, C and it's hard not to be influenced. And if you didn't already know, you and I are two fashion peas in a pod. My next blog post is a review on Joe Fresh's coloured jeans. They're $19 (!)- so even if this trend fades away, there is NO guilt.

    You get the red and I'll get the green and then we'll meet for chai & macarons at Duchess. (;

    1. Haha, Dajana, of course I'm not surprised! I haven't been to Joe in a while $19 jeans sound like the way to go!! I could get two at that price then I don't have to decide on a colour!! Love it.

      Sitting at Duchess, sipping chais in our fancy pants sounds awesome!

  10. The mint and the green ones for sure! Oh dear......And I thought this obsession of mine as well would cease.
    My debit card would just like to thank you for getting a little more use this week as it's owner is on the hunt for both of those colors.
