Hey Christine Thanks for dropping by and the kind words. It's funny, my husband and I were looking at this bike last night. My bike is relatively new but already needs repairs. I'm thinking about about trading mine in .... (it's a Townie) I thought they were good bikes but I wasn't too impressed. Can't wait to see what you end up buying. Have a great weekend!!!
Hahaha... I have a cruiser bike (which I LOVE). It has a fabulous basket and a super comfy seat... but it never really tricks me into exercising! I ride it often, but I don't think the pace I go can in any way be considered 'exercise'!
HI Christine - I've found you through Dajana's blog. :) A co-worker from work's wife has this bike and rides it to Southgate LRT every day for park and ride. She loves it, and I've covetted it from afar. It's super cute.
Hi Christine! I have the Electra and it is a fabulous bike and comfortable to ride! Great for fun bike rides and you can add a basket for picnics, etc.
omg me too. I want to drive around with daisy's in my basket, the wind in my hair, wearing a little sun dress! lol! Let me know where you end up getting one if you do :) You might try checking kijiji too!
Love my cruiser! I got it on Craig's List but it was originally a Target Schwinn. Buying it used was a no guilt purchase for me because I didn't know if I'd like it, and I felt like buying it used would help me justify the expense in order to try it out. :)
Mine is straight up vintage - from the shed of a friends parents cabin and hadn't been ridden in almost 40 years. Makes me feel like a total hipster (which I am not), but it is SO fun to ride. Also, since there are no gears or disc brakes, it's slightly dangerous too, which, yayy! haha.
Hey Christine

ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for cute things, Amy, but I'm sure your bike is equally functional, haha.
