If you followed along with my
nursery planning, you'll know finding
"the chair" was quite the debacle. Too big, too small, too expensive - definitely the hardest piece to find for the room. I came across this new
chair at west elm that definitely would have been in the running.

Pretty sleek looking, hey? It looks somewhat similar to the
EQ3 chair we went with. Maybe that's why I like it.
I'm still crossing my fingers Edmonton gets blessed with a
West Elm sometime soon!

That is quite a sleek chair and it looks super comfy! Does it come with any other color?
ReplyDeleteAs far as I could tell from the website it looks like just grey.
DeleteI LOVE this chair, C.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope we're able to nab an invite to the grand opening when West Elm finally makes an appearance in Edmonton.
Or, at the very least, front of the line privledges. (:
That sounds awesome, D! I sure hope that day is SOON!
DeleteStunning.....
ReplyDeleteOh it's gorgeous and it looks really cozy too.
ReplyDeleteAgreed on the west elm opening!! And that chair has just moved into a front runner for nursery chairs in this house.....now to actually just decide!

Edmonton has been kinda on a roll lately, come'on West Elm!
DeleteGood luck with the nursery hunt, Erinn!
oooh that looks great! I still like yours it looks a bit higher than this one :)
ReplyDeleteThat's true. I really, really like being able to put my head back on my chair during those late nights.
DeleteThat is one beautiful chair!
ReplyDeleteI love this grey and the lines of this chair!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with this chair! I just love the fabric and the design- it is the perfect chair :)
ReplyDeleteJust came across your blog and nursery and wanted to say we ordered this chair without testing it out. I was also in love with it for its color. The chair arrives in a few weeks and I'm excited for its arrival!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of the chair now that you have it (I assume)? We really like it but don't have a West Elm nearby to give a quick sitting test.
DeleteI would also love to know how you like this chair for a nursery and for late night feedings.
DeleteHey guys, I can't answer about the West Elm Chair, but I can tell the EQ3 one I mentioned above was great for late night feedings! We still sit in it all the time.
DeleteI just sat in this yesterday and I loved it. It's currently 15% off! The back is nice and high so you can lean your head back. The curved arms allow you to pick what height you want your elbows at. Comes with a lumbar pillow but the seat is deep enough that it's comfortable with the pillow there. There is also a matching ottoman, but I think I want the chair without the ottoman to save space.
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear! Thanks for the update :)
