One of the things that helps me feel focused is to write things down. I'm a visual person so seeing things on paper really helps and is it just me or is there no better feeling than crossing something off your list? I may or may not write something down after I've done it just so I can cross it off ;)
I've been such a sucker for cute notebooks lately. Having something pretty to look at somehow makes things seem that much easier (the coffee might help too ;)

I hear you! I am exactly the same way - Listy McListerson. Love your notebook!
ReplyDeleteI also have a notebook filled with to-do lists, revised to-do lists, lists of gift ideas, things to do around the house, workout plans, meal plans...you name it. Mom brain is a real thing - I swear, I'm getting dumber with each baby I have so the notebook is a must!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it's a real thing, not so much that it gets worse ;)
DeletePretty notebooks are a must for me too...that and my iPhone. I don't have kids, but I've got some sort of Mom brain going on too. LOL! Maybe it's because I'm a 80 year old granny trapped in a twenties-something body ;)
ReplyDeletehehe, oh Grandma Amy ;)
Deletesuch a pretty note book and love the initial cup :) we have so many to-do lists, sometimes it gets overwhelming + confusing! but writing things down in a notebook/putting reminders on our phone definitely helps.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! My mind always runs a mile a minute! I used to be much better at jotting things down ... must start this habit again! Thanks for the reminder ;)
ReplyDeleteI am a list maker, and loooove crossing things off! I have a Moleskine notebook, and at first I tried to keep it all neat and tidy... Now I just make sure I get things written down! I often wonder if the lists ever end ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure they don't :)
DeleteYou took the words right out of my mouth. I type this to you as I have my teal blue, gold edged notebook journal beside me :) You go girl! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSO on board with the pretty journals!

ReplyDeleteI have that notebook...makes me smile everytime I use it!
ReplyDeleteI gave up writing lists...there are a few important things that slip through the cracks and I end up smacking myself later (like when I forgot it was picture day at preschool) but for the most part, we just roll with it. I mean, the most important things (dinner, laundry, brush teeth) get done, right?
ReplyDeleteso true. It still makes me feel better like it's step one writing it down, at least I get that done??? haha.
