I'm pretty sure I'm not the only mama/daughter, mama/son twins out there, am I right?
Christine
I love this....I've noticed that Joy from OhJoy! does the same thing! It must be a natural inclination for all you stylish and talented Mama's out there!
ReplyDeleteHope this becomes a regular series on your blog because it's just so cute.
Thanks, Amy. I guess when you're in charge of 'dressing' it's bound to happen!
DeleteMatchies! Both of these outfits are so cute - love the hearts!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gloria :)
DeleteAdorable! I find myself doing it often. The funniest is when we're out and someone notices and I haven't even realized we're dressed like twins.
ReplyDeleteYep, that happens to me all the time. Too funny!
Deleteyes yes yes. right there with you my friend.
ReplyDeleteyou make the mother/son matching look awesome.
DeleteMy daughter and I do it all the time as well and it is often not until someone points it out that I realize it ;) Funny I remember growing up my mom used to sew us matching (often floral) dresses and I swore that if I had a daughter I would not do that! So go figure!
ReplyDeletehaha, heather, t's even funnier when it's by accident.
DeleteHaha. This is so so sweet. I would totally get this for me and Mila! :)
ReplyDeleteI totally do this too. A few weeks back Hunter, Scarlett and I all ended up in black and white stripes!
ReplyDeletetriple match! Nice work ;)
DeleteThis is so adorable! I can't wait to have a daughter to dress up just like me! Or so that I can dress up just like her!
ReplyDeleteGirls are fun, but I totally eye up that cute boy section all the time!
DeleteAs you know, I am totally onto this as well! Mama and son over at casa treb have far too many of the same pieces and i'm sure i will eventually give him a complex!
ReplyDeleteAnd i love when clothes are displayed this way.....very very cute!
xoe
Just keep doing it while he's still to little to notice ;)
DeleteI think that's the cutest thing ever. Big hearts for two beautiful girls :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michaela!
DeleteSo cute, Christine! I remember your guys coordinated outfits on one of our play dates!
ReplyDeleteNo adults and baby clothes are so nice and similar, it's understandable when you dress the same, Plus you every mother has a certain style that she dresses herself and, of course, the same her daughter, or husband and son.
I personally love that I can dress Broderick the way I can't dress Gord. :-)
I love all Alice's clothes. I want the second baby to be a daughter, so much fun with girls. At least, while they are little and don't have personal taste yet.
You guys hearts outfit put a smile on my face!
Your comment about how you can dress Broderick the way you can't dress Gord cracked me up!! If only our husband's were as willing participants as the kids, haha! Brody has such awesome style, I love how your dress him! And you're so right, we need to take advantage of this while they'll still let us.
DeleteI find the same thing happening over here.
ReplyDeleteI try to avoid it but not always because I secretly LOVE it.
As I've said in the past, I'm taking advantage of these years when Fiona wants to be like me.
All too soon she would be mortified to match her Mama.
Totally. We need to take advantage while we still can!
DeleteOh we do too! Cute outfits
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cindy :)
DeleteBoth these outfits are super cute! I find I tend to dress myself and my son pretty similar too sometimes :) I'm over from Vancouver Island and I just found your blog and have really enjoyed looking through it, do you have a follow option cuz I can't seem to find one.
ReplyDeleteTereza
Hi Tereza, you can follow via email or rss... link are up on the sidebar :) Hope that helps.
DeleteSuper duper adorable! Alice sure is lucky to match her stylish mama. I always forget about H&M kids, love them. And of course, J Crew's awesome (esp. on sale). #JCrewisthesh!t
ReplyDeleteQuinn & I are twinsies a lot! Mostly we love it & laugh at ourselves.....other times we just side-eye each other & things get weird.
=]
hahaha, oh boy, just wait till she's a teenager ;)
DeleteYep, I'm all about the sale section at j.crew and h&m is so good too and so cheap, that heart shirt was only $6.95!
You always look amazing, as does Alice!
