Here she is in all her glory in our living room. It's the 'Lure Sofa' from Urban Barn.

One step closer to ridding the main floor of all that boring builder beige. I'm super motivated now to paint and find new throw pillows to bring some colour into the mix. I've been browsing etsy for some covers and tonic living for fabrics (may attempt to make another pillow). What are your go-to sources for throw pillows?
And for the sake of keepin' it real, here's what was hiding over in the corner while I took the photo...

Christine
I wish I could just live in Urban Barn...all of their sofas are so nice. We have a leather section from them and it has held up so well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing a little dose of reality too...glad we aren't the only family that has toys spilling out of the corners...
I've had quite a few people tell me they're so happy with the quality of their sofas, so glad to hear!
DeleteI love it! I live about five minutes from an Urban Barn Factory Outlet, and it's always fun to see what appears!
ReplyDeleteoh nice, Rosa, I didn't even know they had outlet stores!
DeleteVery nice!! I couldn't help noticing that gorgeous little ghost chair. Alice is a stylin girl:)
ReplyDeleteHaha, good eye, Carol. That was my recent Home Sense steal!
DeleteI'm so jealous! We bought our first couch a few years ago and I regret it so much, it's black leather, HA. Blaaah. This is my dream type of sofa!
ReplyDeleteI know lots of people love the leather for how easy it is to clean! I guess that's the good thing about waiting, you figure out just what you want.
DeleteGreat sofa love it, that's a perfect color. I can't wait to see what you pick for throw pillows and fabric choices. P.S - Love the keeping it real. Ha ha. xo Karlene
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karl!
DeleteA beautiful couch!! And I love the "keeping it real" picture :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather :)
DeleteLove the couch, Christine! Can't wait to see what pillows you find too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Weiya, hopefully I can pick some soon - so many choices!
DeleteGreat sofa and love the keeping it real photo :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather :)
DeleteLove the sofa, and always, always love your keepin it real photos!
ReplyDeleteWe bought leather sofas when we moved into our house 5 years ago, and although they are awesome and wipeable (great with my messy kid!) I really love fabric sofas for the cozy factor :)
Good luck with the pillow making. It's the only thing I can sew :) What colours are you thinking of using?
I'm not sure yet what colours I want to use yet, Morgan! I think that's why I'm having such a hard time finding some! So indecisive!
Deleteha. i love the "real" thrown into your blog. even still, as a color-coordinated mom all of alice's toys are adorable together...and even with your nice new grey couch addition. Nice choice.
ReplyDeletehaha, I didn't even notice that! Yep, there's definitely a lot of teal going on in that corner ;)
DeleteLove it! Our sectional is from Urban Barn and I could live on it!
ReplyDeleteNice pick!! she's a beaut!
ReplyDeletethat's one sexy b of a couch. does a flooded basement = an insurance paid renovation? Trev's aunt left ribs boiling on the stove one day and then forgot and went for a horseback ride only to come home to their entire upper floor engulfed in flames! I know this sounds tragic but you should see how beautiful their upstairs is now thanks to BCAA ;) enjoy your sexy couch snuggles.
ReplyDeletePS - rotary phone = awesome.
DeleteI miss Urban Barn! We had a bunch of stuff from there when we were in Winnipeg.
ReplyDeleteSweet new sofa.
