Big / Little Style: Plaid (+ baby bump)

When I am pregnant all I want to wear is leggings, skirts or dresses - pants are officially the enemy. This was easy with my first spring/summer pregnancy but a winter pregnancy this time around has proven to be a bit more challenging. I've invested in some fleece leggings, long tunics and today I am making my maxi skirt work for winter paired with a cozy flannel top. This outfit is basically a glorified nightie and I love it...

Big / Little Style: Plaid

BIG STYLE:
top: j.crew factory
necklace: j.crew factory (also worn here)
maxi skirt: joe fresh, old (similar)
bracelets: Indigo
lipstick/gloss: mac: speed dial and prrr.

LITTLE STYLE:
top: boys dept, target
skirt: joe fresh
book: value village
bow: handmade by auntie brittany (similar)

None of my items are actually maternity so you could easily rock this without a bump. Here's me, Alice and the babe at 21 weeks. Baby is growing fast!!

  3. Your bump is too cute! And how adorable is Alice?!

I agree - pants are totally the enemy! This is my first pregnancy, but I have been so glad it has been during the winter months. Leggings - with tunics, dresses or under maxi skirts - have been my outfit of choice. I honestly don't know what I'd do without them! I find I'm never cold (I think leggings, even non-fleeced ones), are warmer than pants any day. I'll take 35 weeks and pregnant in cold weather over 35 weeks and pregnant in sweaty, way-too hot weather any day :)

    1. I'm with ya! The only nice thing about being pregnant in summer is you can get away with no shoes and hardly ANY clothes, haha.

  4. You are GLOWING, mama!! Glorified nightie, here I come (non-preggo)!
Also, your bump's adorably perky. I think I just made it weird in here, what else is new.

  5. This looks so comfortable! I am a big advocate for maxi skirts - they're like built in blankets and it's so fun to walk around in a flowy one that flutters behind you as you walk. LOVE!

    1. It's perfect for button ups like this, they work so well especially if you pair it with something really girly.
